My Story and Mission

I am a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), NASM Certified Personal Trainer (2019), and Certified Behavior Change Specialist (BCS, 2021) based in Boston, MA. I grew up in Amherst, MA where I attended K-12, and then earned my Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I completed 1,450 hours of supervised practice during my dietetic internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, one of Harvard’s official teaching hospitals in Boston, and I run my private practice in Massachusetts!

Growing up, I struggled with body image, poor eating habits, and understanding what it meant to have a healthy relationship with food. I’ve played sports competitively since elementary school, but it wasn’t until my junior year of high school when it dawned on me that the food we put in our bodies has a HUGE impact on our physical and mental health. That was also when I learned that registered dietitians existed - and I knew that was what I wanted to be when I grew up!

Becoming an RDN has allowed me to help people who are going through the same things that so many of us have experienced at some point in our lives. I want to help you break the vicious crash dieting cycle that leaves you more and more discouraged each time - and not to mention, you’ve probably wasted a ton of money on useless diet products already, right? Well don’t worry, that period in your life can officially be put to rest!

Throughout my formal education and training, I’ve also been introduced to the Health At Every Size (HAES) approach, as well as intuitive eating. Between my BCS (through NASM) and these health-inclusive approaches to nutrition and health overall, my counseling provides a well-rounded mix of education, goal setting, forming new habits, learning a positive mindset, and learning to love your body from the inside out.

My Philosophy

Your weight does not determine your health or value, and it should not dictate how you choose to live your life. Everybody deserves and needs a unique approach - health is not the same for everyone, and there is no one size fits all approach to helping you reclaim your health! Nutrition does not have to be scary, complicated, or difficult! I’ll focus on helping you find a balance between your sleep, nutrition, stress, and exercise habits so you can look and feel your best.

Life is meant to be enjoyed and LIVED - and that’s usually influenced by food, which means that food is meant to taste good, fuel your body, and be a positive part of your daily life. We NEED food to survive - so no food or food group should ever be demonized.

And lastly - true change takes time, patience, consistency, and motivation - it’s hard work, but the reward of removing that guilty mindset, creating new habits, and living your happiest life are 100% worth it. If you want an overnight quick-fix, then you’ll never find what you’re looking for.
